Frank Thorne spent over twenty years working in mainstream comics before exiting the business, becoming disillusioned with the limitations imposed on him while working on Red Sonia for Marvel Comics. Leaving commercial comics he focused his efforts on going where the medium dared not go, creating extended adult stories, using mythology he created in an erotic vein. He brought to fruition, among other titles, the universe of Ghita of Alizarr, Lann, and Ribit! — all reprinted by Hermes Press. 

The stories presented in this volume, The Iron Devil and The Devil’s Angel pushed Throne’s imagination to its limits producing tour de forces in contemporary erotic storytelling.
